Lot Title:

1859-C ANACS AU-50 Details, Graffiti-Cleaned.
Description:
Initials have been ineptly scored in the obverse fields on either side of Liberty’s neck. Softly struck on the reverse, as is often the case for Charlotte coins, and a sizeable planchet flaw appears as an irregular depressed area above the Eagle’s head. Abraded diagonally across the obverse.
