1838 No Drapery. PCGS MS-60. 1838 No Drapery. PCGS MS-60.
Lot Title: 1838 No Drapery. PCGS MS-60.
Description: This distinguishable type issue is not only lustrous, but it is also accented with russet-gold nuances, which are circumferentially deeper on its reverse. A distinctive die break is perceived from the outermost star point of the thirteenth star to the rim at 3:30. Although a few toning spots and some light hairlines are detected on the obverse, this sharply struck issue is quite aesthetic.

1838 'no drapery' Seated Liberty half-dime, NGC MS-63
Platinum colored fields emit sparkling mint luster from both sides of this little jewel. The strike is nothing short of spectacular, revealing knifelike details in the shield and deeply sculpted...
922The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$625.00
1838 SEGS MS-66.
This is a bright white half dime that appears problem free. There is a bit of broken luster on the reverse, so it probably won’t cross over.
