(About The Images)
Four GSA Morgan Silver Dollars. Four GSA Morgan Silver Dollars.
Lot Title: Four GSA Morgan Silver Dollars.
Description: 1882-CC MS-64, two 1883-CCs MS-63, and a 1884-CC MS-63. Marvelous originality is the hallmark of this lot. Not only are all four of these CC dollars housed in their original boxes with papers, but they are further enclosed in the original government-issued mailers, and furthermore, come to you in the original cardboard shipping carton, with the Registered USPS stamp showing a date of April 11, 1980. Fantastic! Regarding the coins themselves, the 1882-CC is a frosty white MS-64 with a handful of roller marks on the cheek. Some carbon spots limit the grade. The first of two 1883-CC coins is a slightly prooflike MS-63 with hints of tan on the obverse, and intense die-polish haloing the eagle’s head. The second 1883-CC also grades MS-63 with no prooflike characteristics, and finally, the 1884-CC is semi-prooflike and grades MS-63. Exceedingly fresh coins.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
