Lot Title:
1876 PCGS MS-64.
Description:
This specimen radiates with an orange-gold vibrancy from its prooflike surfaces. A hint of haziness is observed when viewing it under an incandescent light source, but this is a fairly common visual aspect for these Type 3 issues in upper grade levels. Minute contact ticks are viewed with the aid of a glass on this boldly struck issue.

This glistening example portrays an elegant coppery aspect from its prooflike fields. The typical surface haziness that is sometimes apparent with these prooflike, Type 3 dollars is less noticeable... |

1876 NGC MS-61.
A pleasing blend of yellow-gold and richer orange-gold cover the surfaces. Hidden marks consistent with the grade, but this is still a very pretty example. |
