(About The Images)

Lot Title:
1853/4 Arrows & Rays. NGC AU-58.
Description:
This highly prized quarter anomaly not only depicts the numeral "3" over an undertype "4," but repunching is also evident beneath the numerals "1," "8," and "5," as well as at the arrows flanking the date. Its enhancing silver aspect is embellished with rose-gold nuances. With just the barest trace of wear perceived on its high points, surface marks are minimal for this crisply struck scarce issue. NGC Population: 4, 8 finer, the finest are two ascribed MS-63.
