(About The Images)
Lot Title:
1839 NGC XF-45.
Description:
An example from the first year of this Christian Gobrecht designed denomination. Postulated as a distinct year issue by some authorities because the hair curls above Liberty's forehead are distinctly minute when compared to the issues from 1840 to 1908. The appealing yellow-gold surfaces have a light sprinkling of ticks and a handsome aspect at this grade level.
