Lot Title:
1795 Head of 1794, 3 Leaves, B-7, BB-18, R-3. VF-30.
Description:
This is the only 14-berry variety from this particular year. These are equally divided on each branch of the wreath, and only one berry appears beneath the Eagle's left wing on the inside of the wreath. The surfaces are copiously bathed in a deep charcoal-gray, while the reverse displays a suggestion of lavender. There are no adjustment marks to note, and the surfaces are void of detracting marks and blemishes. It is a most befitting example of this particular dollar type.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
