Lot Title:
Twelve Large Cents.
Description:
A dozen Large Cents on quality copper stock. There are five Coronet Head examples and seven Braided Hair specimens. The list of dates with their corresponding estimated grade levels are: 1826 VF-25, 1827 XF-40, 1828 VF-20, 1831 VF-30, 1834 VF-25, 1840 XF-40, 1846 XF-40, 1849 VF-35, 1851 XF-45, 1852 AU-50++, 1853 XF-40, and 1855 N-9 Breen-1916b "Knob on Ear" variety XF-40. Attribution for the balance should provide much enjoyment for the successful bidder.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
