A resplendent example with delicate satiny surfaces that are enhance with a blush of golden iridescence tones. The recorded mintage is 916,000 for this year with the Type II style reverse that depicts a small broad mintmark. The numeral "6" used in the date is closed. A few scattered trivial contact ticks and faint hairlines are noted on this prominently struck Civil War issue.
