(About The Images)
1895-O NGC VF-25. 1895-O NGC VF-25.
Lot Title: 1895-O NGC VF-25.
Description: Only 440,000 New Orleans Branch Mint examples were minted this year, and very few were put aside by collectors at that time because collecting by mint mark succession was not yet popularized. Not easily found in the assigned grade. Good definition is observed on Liberty's profile with respect to the hair, forehead, and leaf details. The surfaces portray a charming antique pewter aspect.

High Estimate: $1,000.00

491The Collectors' Auction 2012 on 10/05/2012$950.00
1895-O F.
LIBERTY features every single letter, albeit "ER" are slightly weak. An obvious album escapee, the obverse fields display powder-blue toning, with similar color lining the reverse rim.
614The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$340.00
1895-O PCGS GD-6.
Part of "L" and all of "Y" are visible on the headband, as is a short, old scratch that has toned down with the original grey color that dominates this coin. Rims are absolutely complete, though...
615The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$725.00
1895-O ANACS VF-20 Details, cleaned.
A moderately glossy key dime that does display some crisscrossing hairlines on Liberty's cheek, but is by no means an ugly coin. ANACS neglected to mention surface damage that has corrupted the area...
616The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$1,400.00
1895-O VF.
XF-40 may not be much of a reach for this very handsome key Barber dime. Significant mint luster can easily be seen beneath a thin patina, and some original tone clings to the letters and devices. ...
413The Collectors' Auction 2008 on 10/17/2008$310.00
1895-O GD.
1895-O is the undisputed key to a circulated set of regular issue Barber dimes, yet only recently has it begun to appropriately show the type of price advance experienced by the 1916-D Mercury dime...
1216The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$1,550.00
1895-O XF-45.
When was the last time you saw an 1895-O Dime that was this fresh and original? This coin came from a collection that was put together in the 1960s and early 1970s. It has been in an album this...
499The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/17/2006$2,800.00
1895-O AU-53.
With a mintage of just 440,000, this remains the key to the Barber Dime series, save for the 1894-S. Very seldom does an opportunity arise to locate this classic rarity in About Uncirculated or...
