1878-CC AU-50+ Cleaned.

Description:
|
A lower mintage date of 97,000, with 56,000 struck in January 1878 and 41,000 minted in February 1878. There were 44,148 Trade Dollars melted at the Carson City Branch Mint on July 19, 1878. Speculation is that most of the February 1878 production were included in this destruction. This particular specimen experienced a light cleaning in the past. Void of unsightly toning and displaying bold design detailing.
