Lot Title:

Six Buffalo nickels, including a 1915-D NGC MS-62, and a 1927 PCGS MS-62.
|
Description:
|
Steve Deckling Collection. Major grading services have encapsulated this half-dozen popular buffalo nickels -- none of them rare but a couple could be deemed tougher dates in the series. We list them as: 1913 type-1 (ANACS MS-64), 1913 type-2 (small ANACS MS-64), 1915-D (NGC MS-62, quite decent for the grade but somewhat flatly struck as is often the case for the date), 1927 (PCGS MS-62), 1936 (NGC MS-65), and 1937-S (PCGS MS-65). These latter two gems are particularly vibrant and nice for the grade level. Six coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
