Lot Title:
Sheet of eleven Bust half-dollars, consecutive dates 1826 through 1836, all VF.
Description:
Courteous Collection of Early Type. 1826 O-105 has the luster of XF, but a small scratch enters Liberty's throat, resulting in a net VF grade. Except as noted, these seem to be reasonably original coins, listed as 1827 O-112 (old light cleaning), 1828 O-108, 1829, 1830 O-120, 1831 O-116 (dipped), 1832 O-113 (lightly cleaned), 1833 O-102, 1834 O-115, 1835 O-102 (looks like nice XF), and 1836 O-113a (album toning over an old dip). Eleven coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
