Mintage: 7000. Most surviving 1860-S 3-dollar coins will only be found in circulated grade, as perhaps a handful of true UNC pieces remain, and even AU proves to be very elusive. The usual grade found is in the VF to XF range, with this a highly pleasing PCGS VF-20. Perfectly smooth, even wear has created attractive olive-gold nuances for the entire surfaces, accented by butterscotch patches on the high points. A great example for the grade. (PCGS# 007981)
