Lot Title:
1924-D NGC MS-63 RB.
Description:
Poor production for a substantial proportion of 1924-D cents helps explain the difficulty in locating really nice upper-grade examples. Even in this case of an NGC MS-63, collectors will be able to recognize right away the softness typical of the date, with the lack of pinpoint details evident at Lincoln's beard, as is the softness through the wheat lines. Nevertheless, much luster and a reasonable portion of the original red color remain for this glossy certified semi-key. (PCGS# 002553)

1924-D and 1924-S PCGS.
Nearly a quarter of the mint red remains for the 1924-D, which is graded MS-62 BN, while the 1924-S seems to be a borderline "RB" coin, despite the MS-63 BN grade. Neither coin is even remotely well... |
