(About The Images)
1924-D NGC MS-63 RB. 1924-D NGC MS-63 RB.
Lot Title: 1924-D NGC MS-63 RB.
Description: Poor production for a substantial proportion of 1924-D cents helps explain the difficulty in locating really nice upper-grade examples. Even in this case of an NGC MS-63, collectors will be able to recognize right away the softness typical of the date, with the lack of pinpoint details evident at Lincoln's beard, as is the softness through the wheat lines. Nevertheless, much luster and a reasonable portion of the original red color remain for this glossy certified semi-key. (PCGS# 002553)

224The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$450.00
1924-D MS-60.
Burgundy-red patina retains considerable underlying luster despite a soft strike.
497The Midwest Summer Sale on 07/24/2009$575.00
1924-D and 1924-S PCGS.
Nearly a quarter of the mint red remains for the 1924-D, which is graded MS-62 BN, while the 1924-S seems to be a borderline "RB" coin, despite the MS-63 BN grade. Neither coin is even remotely well...
366The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$360.00
1924-D ANACS MS-62 BRN.
This lustrous example exhibits opulent tan surfaces that are enhanced by nuances of rose and blue. Distinct details are present on the bow tie, hair curls, and lapels.
