Lot Title:

Collection of Washington Quarters in a Dansco 8140 Album, no 1936-D.
|
Description:
|
Shoeless Joe Collection. A 1937-S sits in places of 1936-D, but otherwise, the set is completely from 1932 through 1986-S, with many additional clad pieces appearing thereafter. Solid value appears even with early pieces, with UNC coins that may include 1934-D, 1935, 1935-D, 1936-S, 1937-D, 1937-S, 1940-D, and as usual a tremendous proportion of Choice to Gem BU coins thereafter. We grade the keys as 1932-D (fine) and 1932-S (VF/lightly cleaned). Fantastic starter set with plenty of opportunity in the early dates, and some proof coins in unexpected places (1955, 6, 7, 8, etc.)
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
