Description:

FMG Set. Surprisingly colorful for a bust dollar with this much wear, large portions of citrus-blue, magenta green and golden-grey compete for space on the obverse, with the reverse showing similar colors dominated by a large swath of medium grey patina. Smooth and consistent, even wear assures that there will be no distracting contact marks, and even the edge remains free from the dings that frequent members of the series. As usual, the reverse appears better defined than the obverse, although the well-known under-digit remains bold and easily recognized. (PCGS# 040090)
