Lot Title:
1852-D PCGS VF details/cleaning.
Description:
Perhaps a little pale on the highpoints in slightly brilliant-ish fashion, each side nevertheless retains the presence of quite a bit of dark "grunge", as if someone merely oil-rubbed the highpoints to get rid of excessive rubbish. If the surfaces could be permitted to re-acquire some deeper golden hue, this Dahlonega coin would almost certainly get into a straight-grade holder at some point. Perfectly detailed for the VF grade level. (PCGS# 008252)
