(About The Images)
1849-C PCGS VF-25. 1849-C PCGS VF-25.
Lot Title: 1849-C PCGS VF-25.
Description: Mintage: 10,220. VF seems to be the predominant grade for the 1849 Charlotte quarter-eagle, with not many more than a hundred believed to still exist in all grades. Usually found with soft high-relief details, this example meets that expectation with considerable flatness noticeable throughout the eagle's wings. Nevertheless, most of the obverse stars manage to retain some segmentation, and there is a very faint tinge of luster stubbornly clinging to the reverse rims. (PCGS# 007753)

1849-C PCGS VF-25.

1849-C VF.
An ideal candidate for the VF grade range, the coin is free from any problems other than normal circulation, and the surfaces appear to be significantly more original than what is often seen, even...

1849-C ICG AU-55.
There is no arguing the scarcity of the 1849-C quarter-eagle. Only ten-thousand were minted, and of that amount, perhaps 1% or so survive, with AU representatives particularly scarce. Surfaces for...
