Lot Title:
1913 PCGS Proof, UNC details/questionable color.
Description:
The gunmetal-blue color seen over the obverse cedes to darker cobalt-grey near the edges, and this side does not look unacceptable by comparison to numerous other certified pieces with similar patina. Evidently, PCGS did not like the intermingled portions of chartreuse-violet and olive-brown that decorate the reverse, though the overall effect isn't particularly offensive, just uneven in application. Stray hairlines here and there suggest a technical PF-63 level or so. (PCGS# 006560)
