Lot #AuctionCurrent Bid or Hammer PriceDescription
946The Collectors' Auction - 2014 on 10/17/2014$475.00
1899-S PCGS MS-63.
Mile High Collection. Shimmering white brilliance and a fairly clean cheek seem to beg for upgrade consideration, especially as the reverse looks so nice. Pleasing satin texture overlays the devices...
947The Collectors' Auction - 2014 on 10/17/2014$1,700.00
1899-S PCGS MS-65.
Mile High Collection. A fabulous gem-white dollar, each side hints at modest prooflike appeal, and correspondingly sharp details lock in the eye-appeal. Trivial shallow abrasions on the cheek...
715The Collectors' Auction 2010 on 10/15/2010$675.00
1899-S PCGS MS-64.
Mild champagne patina drapes gently across the central reverse, with the balance of both sides relatively untoned and pristine. Sharpness and luster are both commensurate with the assigned MS-64...
844The Midwest Summer Sale 2010 on 07/23/2010$700.00
1899-S NGC MS-64 PL (no line) CAC.
In the NGC no-line slab, prooflike quality for this 1899-S Morgan dollar is not obvious, so one must rely on NGC's evaluation prior to encapsulation. On the other hand, the smooth cheek and elegantly...
1018The Midwest Summer Sale on 07/24/2009$1,300.00
1899-S PCGS MS-65.
While the fields are free of abrasions or distractions, Liberty's cheek sports several curving luster grazes. The reverse, however, grades at least one point higher by itself.
748The Collectors' Auction 2008 on 10/17/2008$450.00
1899-S REDFIELD MS-63.
The Paramount holder states a grade of MS-65, though your cataloger suggests MS-63 to be a more appropriate assessment. Splashes of earth-tone accents adhere to the obverse rims, while the reverse...
866The Collectors' Auction 2007 on 10/19/2007$475.00
1899-S NGC MS-64.
A few parallel roller marks (as struck) are scattered across the lower cheek area of Liberty’s portrait, but they are particularly plentiful throughout the entire reverse, providing an intriguing...
856The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$1,250.00
1899-S PCGS MS-64, 1900-S NGC MS-64, and 1902-S PCGS MS-63.
The 1899 example glistens with a breathtaking white aspect. A bold example that is minimally marked with a few die striations on Liberty's cheek. The distinctly struck 1900 piece portrays a vibrant...
857The Midwest Summer Sale 2007 on 07/27/2007$600.00
1899-S PCGS MS-64.
This is a fully struck, frosty, better date dollar. The overall appearance exceeds the technical grade. This coin looks as if it were struck this week. Rotate it under a light for a vivid display...
930The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$2,300.00
1899-S NGC MS-66.
This collector-consigned dollar is visually stunning. The obverse is naked-eye perfect and shows only minor tics under magnification. The reverse shows one scuff on the Eagle's breast and another...
