(About The Images)
1900-S NGC MS-64. 1900-S NGC MS-64.
Lot Title: 1900-S NGC MS-64.
Description: Lovely original patina suppresses any worries about a coin that has overdipped, and certainly the entire coin shows vibrant luster despite a not-quite-complete strike. Many S-mint dollars of the era display planchet striations, with no exception here. The reverse features an extensive array of feathery lines leaning up and right. (PCGS# 007270)
Low Estimate: $500.00
High Estimate: $600.00
Lot Status: Bidding has been closed for this lot.

949The Collectors' Auction - 2014 on 10/17/2014$1,300.00
1900-S PCGS MS-65.
Checkered Collection. Breathtaking gem eye-appeal accommodates blistering definition and blazing white luster, relieved only at the center of the eagle's breast by a faint touch of butterscotch. ...
743The Midwest Summer Sale 2012 on 07/27/2012$1,400.00
1900-S PCGS MS-65 CAC.
VAM-10A, and supposedly "The rare (R-6) VAM-10A die state is the key variety for the date" per VAMworld.com. Superior strike quality elevates the sharpness beyond what is typical for 1900-S, lacking...
719The Collectors' Auction 2010 on 10/15/2010$450.00
1900-S PCGS MS-64.
Both sides are remarkably free from distractions for the MS-64 grade, but it is interesting to note that some planchet depressions on the reverse just beneath the lower edge of the eagle's wings are...
663The Collectors' Auction 2009 on 10/16/2009$450.00
1900-S MS-64.
Dusty orange-grey toning on the reverse contrasts mightily with a nearly blast-white obverse, leading to conclusion that this was likely an end-of-roll silver dollar, although hints of a textile...
664The Collectors' Auction 2009 on 10/16/2009$975.00
1900-S PCGS MS-65.
Gleaming with silvery brilliance and completely untoned. 1900-S is a somewhat difficult issue to find in "gem" grade, and this example provides a lustrous, smooth appearance despite numerous planchet...
1020The Midwest Summer Sale on 07/24/2009$550.00
1900-S ANACS MS-65.
Eggshell-white with tinges of toast-gold at the rims. The strike is rather mundane and failed to eradicate all the roller marks on the curl above Liberty's ear.
754The Midwest Winter Sale 2008 on 02/08/2008$350.00
1900-S Morgan dollar, PCGS MS-63 PL
An honest assessment of this untoned coin must call into question the "prooflike" designation, as there appears to be little contrast between the devices and the fields, and reflectivity is not...
760The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$230.00
1900-S MS-63.
This specimen's scintillating luster is accentuated with a hint of golden iridescence. Liberty's cheek is fairly clean, however the fields exhibit ticks and delicate scuffs commensurate for this...
932The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$400.00
1900-S PCGS MS-64.
A nice dollar that is housed in an older, green label PCGS holder. It is bright white and problem free.
863The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/17/2006$400.00
1900-S PCGS MS-64.
A blazing white dollar with dazzling luster. It is fully struck, and has semi-prooflike fields. There are minimal marks for the grade and few distractions.
864The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/17/2006$0.00
1900-S PCGS MS-65.
Always a desirable San Francisco issue at this superlative level. The satiny surfaces radiate an astonishing cartwheel that is enhanced by exquisite russet tones framing the white devices. The few...
