In the realm of third-party grading, sometimes it seems that all coins are not treated equally. NGC's disclaimer for "cleaned" certainly is accurate, but anyone can tell that the cleaning was hardly that bad, and certainly worse examples can be found in slabs without such disclaimer. Indeed, if anything, the surfaces present a nice, original appearance in general, as the khaki-gold color that predominates features some carrot-gold accents surrounding many devices. Typically struck with blunt details, the major devices nonetheless retain considerable boldness, and there are no substantial abrasions to report. (PCGS# 008274)
