Lot Title: 1787 Connecticut PCGS VF-30, and a 1788 Vermont PCGS F-15, both CAC.
Description: Given a fifteen point difference in grade (according to PCGS), these match up amazingly well as to color, with classic walnut-brown surfaces that yield to broad pecan pecan highlights. The Connecticut fewer of the usual planchet flaws and defects than are usually seen, with tantalizing, smooth texture seen throughout the devices. An ancient pinscratch crosses the portrait of the Vermont piece, smoothed over like the rest of the coin by fairly heavy circulation wear. Two coin lot.
