Description: Charter# 2016. The Home National Bank of Elgin, Illinois. From the rarest of the four Elgin Banks that issued small size only -- just four are reported. This large denomination example is void of pinholes, but it has coal colored areas around portions of the margins. It still has that crisp feel.
