Lot Title:
1911 NGC PF-66 CAMEO.
Description:
The Nickel-To-A-Doughnut Collection. Just one look is all it takes to affirm the drop-dead beautiful cameo designation, as either side demonstrates strong contrast as befits the grade. Although the obverse may actually show slightly better effect than the reverse, viewing the coin under a lamp reveals unmistakable lines of lightning-fast luster rolling through the fields, preventing notions of UCAM. It shouldn't matter, though. This utterly gorgeous, pristine jewel owes no apologies and stands on its own merits as an extremely well struck early 20th century proof. A coin that belongs in an premium quality set! (PCGS# 083909)
