(About The Images)
1832 (LM-2) PCGS MS-64 CAC. 1832 (LM-2) PCGS MS-64 CAC.
Lot Title: 1832 (LM-2) PCGS MS-64 CAC.
Description: The jagged vertical line on Liberty's cheek proves to be a die-crack that can often be seen on high-grade examples of LM-2. Each side possesses remarkably attractive mint frost, especially the reverse, where the lovely matte texture extends up and over the devices. Highpoint details on the obverse show some of the uppermost "brilliance" typical of either a "just-missed-perfection" strike, or delicate cabinet friction. At any rate, the coin also features consistent pearl-silver patina on both sides with a brief suggestion of pastel blue toward the rims. There really is no singular objection to even higher grade consideration, though some trivial luster grazes may be found in the fields. (PCGS# 004279)

1832 (LM-3) NGC MS-64.
Ravishing, silver-white gem luster could hardly be more pronounced for an early silver coin of such small size, and one wonders how tempting a gem grade must have been for NGC. They seldom come THIS...

1832 (LM-12, R.2) NGC MS-64.
A die chip has formed in the lower loop of "8", and helps to identify LM-12. Likely one of the prettiest coins in today's sale, this little jewel sparkles with captivating frosty luster and benefits...
