Lot Title:
1832 (LM-12, R.2) NGC MS-64.
Description:
A die chip has formed in the lower loop of "8", and helps to identify LM-12. Likely one of the prettiest coins in today's sale, this little jewel sparkles with captivating frosty luster and benefits from highly attractive though mottled color. Denim-blue and cinnamon-rouge intermix and gravitate toward the left and right on the obverse, but chase each other more randomly across the reverse in a disorganized display of toning. Despite the chaos, one cannot deny the eye-appeal, especially since the coin is free from all but trivial contact marks. Delightful! (PCGS# 004279)
