Clem Stevens Collection. Deeply toned coins make up this pairing, with the 1948-D thoroughly drenched in marvelous crimson-bronze patina on the obverse, and lavender-grey on the reverse. The 1949 shows broad album toning on the obverse and narrow bands of similar toning on the reverse. Two coin lot.
