Lot Title:
1963-D PCGS MS-65.
Description:
Clem Stevens Collection. A screaming gem with very strong sharpness, the obverse features narrow but extremely vibrant bands of deeply saturated rainbow color. Cooler cobalt-indigo tones start at the top and bottom rims and rapidly change over to blood-red and sunset-gold vibrancy. The effect is really quite arresting and unusual for a Franklin half -- or any silver coin for that matter. (PCGS# 086685)
