Lot Title:
1896 PCGS Unc details/cleaning, and an 1899 PCGS AU-55.
Description:
Norman Conquest Collection. PCGS disclaims "cleaning" for the 1896, but such is not readily apparent by any means. Close inspection will be required to locate diagonal, feathery hairlines zipping across Liberty's cheek, though blueberry-grey patina hides them to great extent. The 1899 shows deep steel-blue toning over the obverse and little toning on the reverse, with expectant light wear responsible for the grade. Two coin lot.
