Lot Title:
1852-D PCGS AU-50.
Description:
Mintage: 6,360. Low mintage and modest survival rate explains much of the appeal of the 1852-D gold dollar, with very few UNC examples known. This AU-50 coin offers much of the original mint-state quality, with considerable luster and virtually all the details still intact for your viewing pleasure. Time and light wear have allowed for the medium-gold surfaces to acquire substantial grapefruit-orange tint within the outer field areas, enhancing the visual experience. (PCGS# 007519)
