Lot Title:
1868 PCGS MS-62BN.
Description:
Just as sharp as can be for the date, this 1868 was struck with four sharp, full diamonds, as well as exceptionally deep details in the wreath. Why not MS-63(BN), PCGS? The coin seems to possess completely original chocolate-brown patina with an occasional flicker of mint red, and some very minute ticks here and there on the portrait do not look nearly distracting enough to warrant such conservative grading.
