(About The Images)
1889 PCGS MS-63. 1889 PCGS MS-63.
Lot Title: 1889 PCGS MS-63.
Description: Mintage: 2300. An exuberant coin, this 1889 serves double duty as it represents the final mintage for the series, and also offers memorable russet-gold toning that color enthusiasts will enjoy. Such a paltry emission provided an inglorious conclusion to a series that never proved popular with the general public, and most examples escaped circulation, making semi-prooflike coins like this available in better condition. Well struck as always for the date, with isolated scattered abrasion responsible for the grade. (PCGS# 008011)
Low Estimate: $6,000.00
High Estimate: $8,000.00
