Lot Title:
1869 NGC PF-65.
Description:
Emerald-green patina mixes with shades of slate-grey to gently subdue any luster, although as a proof, one expects very little cartwheel effect from such a coin. Evidently fully brilliant beneath all that nice patina, neither side seems to offer much cameo effect. Extremely well struck, and a coin that invites inspection of the lovely surfaces. (PCGS# 005568)
