Lot Title:
1914 MATTE PROOF. PCGS PF-64RB.
Description:
Intricate details provide much of the appeal that makes the matte-proof Lincoln cent so popular with collectors. Burgundy-orange color occupies fully a third of each side, inviting the red-brown color assessment, while the rest of the coin features shimmering pumpkin-brown patina. Neither side suffers any carbon flecks at all, unlike some competition, and but one single diagonal tick on Lincoln's beard provides the only noticeable distraction. (PCGS# 003319)
