Lot Title:
Six better dates.
Description:
Better grades, better dates, and better performance in bed. Two out of these three promises are well assured with acquisition of this half-dozen group of Barber half-dollars. Each has pretty much a readable LIBERTY, with dates listed as follows: 1894-O (VF), 1894-S (Fine, but just very barely), 1902-O (XF), 1907-O (AU, virtually undetectable curving hairlines in the obverse right field), 1909-S (VF or very close to it), and 1912-D (VF or details close to that grade, but recovering color after an old dip). Six coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
