From Maxine's Proof Set Collection. The second of two such sets, the consignor intended to include proof coins from 1950 through 1964, but did not manage to include a single coin from the first two dates in this album. These are basically the upgrades from his other collection (included in today's sale), and fortunately what is included is generally of strong quality. Some coins display nice toning (the 1952 half is amazing), and hints of cameo contrast show up here and there. Besides proof sets of 1950 and 1951, eight coins are lacking from the other years' sets. (Elsewhere: the consignor's primary set of upgraded coins.)
