(About The Images)
1869-S PCGS XF-45. 1869-S PCGS XF-45.
Lot Title: 1869-S PCGS XF-45.
Description: 1869-S cannot be mistaken as a scarce date, but it is certainly a pleasant change of pace from the usual parade of common coins. A fair amount of cartwheel effect still emanates from the reverse, while the obverse features minimal luster and a small dark spot over the date. (PCGS# 008956)

This especially handsome specimen retains a good amount of luster on its elegant yellow-gold surfaces. Lightly marked with one slight rim scrape on the obverse at 7:00, and particularly well struck.
