(About The Images)
1929-D PCGS MS-64. 1929-D PCGS MS-64.
Lot Title: 1929-D PCGS MS-64.
Description: Bud's Walker Duplicates. Energized, blazing white luster has not diminished in the slightest since the day this half was struck, and vibrancy suggests that the coin has somehow avoided being dipped. What a marvelous find for the collector of white-yet-(seemingly)-original silver! A delicate hint of ivory-grey patina layers up and down Liberty's vignette and appears to be the only suggestion of tone. This Denver half-dollar shows also rather exceptional sharpness for a branch-mint strike, since Liberty's hand features much of her forefinger; only a couple of central skirt lines fail to show completeness. (PCGS# 006589)

735The Collectors' Auction 2013 on 10/18/2013$4,800.00
1929-D PCGS MS-66 CAC.
59 graded MS-66, 1 higher at PCGS. Denver minted a million half-dollars in 1929 yet very-gem examples exist only in small numbers, with CAC declaring this as one of the best. It would be tough to...
539The Collectors' Auction 2010 on 10/15/2010$475.00
1929-D ANACS MS-63.
The obverse luster is a trifle dull, possibly from an old and unimportant cleaning, while the reverse displays lucid, gleaming luster, and both sides bear a benign layer of delicate golden-rose tone. ...
500The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$600.00
1929-D MS-63.
From an issue known to be represented by coins with average to below average strike quality comes this better 1929-S graded MS-63. Details are decently represented, including Liberty's hand, which...
501The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$2,100.00
1929-D PCGS MS-65.
Well struck half-dollars seldom emerged from the branch mints before the late 1930s, but this 1929-D displays pleasing sharpness that includes much detail for Liberty's hand, and fine delineation of...
1145The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$240.00
1929-D NGC AU-55.
Only a small bit of wear is holding this Walker back from a loftier grade. The coin is fully lustrous and well struck.
1485The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$177.00
1929-D AU-50.
Soft russet toning blends with the lovely, original silver surfaces on the right half of the obverse, and even lighter on much of the reverse. A nice AU example.
