Lot Title:
Four PCGS certified Morgan dollars.
Description:
All of these are circulated to some degree, but mostly feature exceptionally nice, original surfaces for their respective grade assignments. 1879-CC is particularly nice at VF-30, with the entire coin dominated by gorgeous pewter-grey patina with classic charcoal accents. An 1886-O in a rattler holder is graded AU-55 and is very bright, having been lightly cleaned, but the eye-appeal has not suffered much, and this is a very tough coin in higher grade. 1886-S displays the perfect amount of mint luster for XF-45 and delicate aluminum-grey patina, and 1892-S seems softly luminescent for the XF-40 grade level. Four coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
