Lot Title:
Four NGC certified Morgan dollars. Three graded MS-65, and one graded MS-66.
Description:
Needless to say, high grade rules with regard to this group of superior Morgan dollars, with only the first in an older slab (the latter three are in EdgeView holders). Included are: 1878-S (MS-65, with strong semi-prooflike appeal and some interesting crystal-blue toning along the upper left field), 1880-S (MS-66, with a borderline prooflike obverse and white brilliance overall), 1886 (MS-65, and scorching white-hot luster), and 1921-D (MS-65, with lightly frosted motifs that render a surprising level of cameo contrast). Every single coin is commensurate with the assigned grade, and although the 1880-S is oddly not quite as well struck as usual, the other three coins are strongly detailed. Four coin lot.
