Lot Title:
1870 $5.00. San Francisco, CA Charter# 1741 PCGS F-15/edge trimmed into design.
Description:
1870 $5.00. Crudely trimmed at the top such that the edge falls into the design, and the note is heavily worn, making the PCGS F-15 grade a bit of a surprise. But it is a very difficult type "National Gold Bank" note and popular as such, this one more affordable than most. Signatures have faded but remain very legible.
