Lot Title:
1806 Round 6, 7 X 6 Stars (BD-6, R.2). PCGS Genuine (code 98/AU details/ex-jewelry).
Description:
Any evidence at the rim that might speak to use as jewelry is completely obscured by the gooey PCGS insert, but harsh cleaning of the surfaces shows plainly even under casual observation. Texture has taken on a wavy appearance, although each obverse field has an "X" lightly inscribed and still visible. An inexpensive (relatively speaking) foray into the realm of difficult gold type coins. (PCGS# 008089)
