Lot Title:
Collection of Standing Liberty quarters in a Dansco 7132 album (missing 1916).
Description:
Excluding 1916 and the overdate, every coin in a complete set of Standing Liberty quarters is present, with strong details exhibited everywhere. By far, VF/XF is the predominant grade. A few notable coins include 1919-D (XF/overdipped), 1919-S (AU/overdipped), 1921 (VF/reverse corroded, but with a full date), and 1923-S (XF/PVC residue, but seemingly with some decent luster). In addition, most of the coins with better details are dipped or cleaned, though no other problems are noted.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
