Lot Title:

Collection of Standing Liberty quarters, 1917 through 1930 (no 1916, 1918/17-S, 1923-S, or 1924-D), in a Whitman 9417 album.
|
Description:
|
Strong potential is certainly present in this partial set of Standing Liberty quarters, missing just four coins (but an extra 1918-S is included). 1917-D type-2 is a beautiful AU+ example, and 1919 and 1919-D are XF and VF+ respectively. 1921 displays a strong date for an example in the Fine range, and 1924 is borderline UNC! 1927-S is a key date and easily VG, with claims to a full (and more expensive) Fine grade.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
