(About The Images)
1834 B-2, R-4 AU-50. 1834 B-2, R-4 AU-50.
Lot Title: 1834 B-2, R-4 AU-50.
Description: This specimen quite possibly experienced a former a light cleaning on its obverse. It is a bold representation of a very scarce die marriage. There are no significant surfaces marks to detract from its overall handsome aspect.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

1834 (B-3) NGC MS-61.
7070 Collection. A pronounced die-clash from the shield has left strong upraised near-vertical bars across the central portrait, though the reverse die has no corresponding evidence, showing instead...
524The Collectors' Auction 2012 on 10/05/2012$240.00
1834 (B-1) ANACS XF-40.
Pewter-grey coloration gathers into the periphery, rapidly yielding to slightly glossy lighter patina nearer and across the central devices on each side. Nice die rotation of about 45-degrees adds...
501The Midwest Summer Sale 2012 on 07/27/2012$2,100.00
1834 (B-4) NGC MS-62.
A thin die crack that meanders across some of the lower details on the reverse is often seen for B-4, one of the common die-marriages of 1834. NGC's grade of MS-62 adequately conveys impressions of...
478The Midwest Summer Sale 2010 on 07/23/2010$675.00
1834 (B-3, R.3) AU/clashed dies.
Wholesome steely lavender patina dominates this small-sized bust quarter, and it is light enough that the underlying luster is scarcely inhibited at all. Beautifully struck, the stars are all nearly...

1834 B-3, 1835 B-2, 1838 B-1 XF-ish,

1834 B-1 VF-30 and 1836 B-3 VF-20.
A pair of bust quarters that includes an 1834 B-1 “no period” VF-30 and an 1836 B-3 we'll call VF-20. Original coins with no problems. Two coin lot.
1050The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$400.00
1834 AU-50.
A pleasing golden rose iridescence is perceived on the obverse, while its reverse has a soft silver-gray hue. A delicate die break is observed on the obverse starting at the rim below the first star,...
1246The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$320.00
1834 XF-45.
The choice gray surfaces have a hint of lilac. No major bothersome marks or blemishes, just one old scratch on the reverse above the left corner of the shield noted on this bold strike.
