Lot Title:
1808/7 (C-2). PCGS VF-25.
Description:
Marvelously original, dry leather-brown patina dominates the entire coin and will appeal to collectors who love coins with virgin surface quality. No foolish attempts have been made to "improve" what is already a gorgeous little copper! Sharpness includes a distinct separation in the hairline as well as strongly defined stems in the wreath. Without any stains or serious contact marks to detract, one has to see this is a premium-quality early half-cent. (PCGS# 001110)
