Lot Title:
1893-CC SEGS MS-64.
Description:
This coin is holdered with the light cleaning designation. It looks as if it has been dipped, but does not appear to have been scrubbed. Free of any contact marks or hairlines, and fully struck, this coin would grade MS-64 or better if it had some luster. However, as is, a more reasonable grade would be a nice MS-62. Visually appealing, this coin would fit well into a raw coin or CC set.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

A truly uncirculated CC gold piece. Wow! This prooflike coin is far nicer in appearance than the assigned grade would indicate. It is very well struck with each and every detail fully brought up. ... |
