Lot Title:
Collection of Lincoln cents 1909 through 1998-S, including proof-only issue, in a Dansco 8100 album.
Description:
A large run of small cents includes every coin from 1909 through 1998-S, with no doubled-die varieties, but including all proof-only issues for later dates. UNC examples begin to appear with the 1934, but there is a number of earlier potentially uncirculated pieces, including 1917, 1920, 1920-D, 1924, 1925, 1929, 1929-S, 1930 and others. The keys are generally nice as well, and listed as 1909-S (XF), 1909-S VDB (F), 1914-D (F/reverse cleaned), 1922 "plain, weak reverse" (VG/corroded), and 1931-S (MS-60 BN). Look for many choice and gem RD coins in the 1930s and 1940s.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
